Russia is holding 31 Ukrainian journalists captive

At the moment, it is known about 31 Ukrainian journalists kidnapped by the enemy and held captive on the territory of the Russian Federation.

This was reported by the executive director of the NGO «Media Initiative for Human Rights» Tetiana Katrychenko at a press conference at the Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

«As of today, the media initiative for human rights has identified 31 media persons kidnapped by Russia in the occupied territories of Ukraine. In many cases, the fate of these people remains unknown. Neither relatives nor human rights defenders can get information about their whereabouts and health status,» Tetiana Katrychenko said.

She noted that the organization investigates cases of detention of Ukrainian civilians in the occupied territories, including journalists.

We will remind you that in Mykolaiv every week there is a rally of relatives and relatives of military prisoners. Among the protesters are the relatives of captured Mykolaiv soldiers.
