On the evening of March 19, a traffic accident involving a passenger car and a motorcycle occurred on the outskirts of Snihurivka, Bashtanka district, Mykolaiv region.

This was reported by the State Service for Emergency Situations in the Mykolaiv region.

It is noted that the pyrotechnic calculation of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Chernihiv region, which is on rotation in the Mykolaiv region, was returned from the place of demining of the territories of the region. Pyrotechnicians provided first aid to the victim before the emergency medical team arrived at the scene.

«Using their own medical equipment, they applied hemostatic bandages. By that time, a medical team had already reached them, which, according to the rules, accompanies the sappers during the performance of assigned tasks,» the rescuers noted.

The injured man was hospitalized at the nearest hospital.

Earlier it was reported that in Mykolaiv, on Tsentralnyi Avenue, 138 V, near the New York Street Pizza cafe, a Mercedes-Benz driver ran over a pedestrian who was crossing the road on an unregulated pedestrian crossing.

It was also reported that a truck and a motorcycle collided on the M-14 highway «Odesa — Melitopol» in the Mykolayiv region. The driver of the two-wheeler died.
