The police announced a suspicion against the former acting director of the Ochakiv general educational sanatorium-boarding school of grades I-III of the Mykolaiv Regional Council. Law enforcement officers reported that the woman had wasted 300,000 budget hryvnias by illegally rewarding her subordinates.

This is stated in the message of the Department of Communication of the Mykolaiv Oblast Police.

It is noted that at the end of 2021, the ex-principal of the educational institution, abusing her official position, made known false information in the order on bonuses for some employees. Such bonuses were 900% higher than the rest of the staff's bonuses, totaling more than 300,000 hryvnias.

Currently, under the procedural leadership of the Mykolaiv District Prosecutor's Office, investigators have informed the accused of the suspicion of committing crimes provided for in part 1 of article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine «Official forgery» and part 2 of article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine «Empropriation, waste of property or possession of it by abuse of official position».

According to the sanctions of the incriminated articles, the perpetrator faces up to five years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to hold a certain position or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years.

Note: in accordance with Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subject to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.

Earlier it was reported that the managers of the training center of the National Guard illegally accrued almost 1 million «combat» bonuses.
