On Tuesday, March 5, a 38-year-old man blew himself up in the village of Bezimenne, Snihurivka community, Bashtanka district.

This was reported by the Main Department of the State Service for Emergency Situations in the Mykolaiv region.

Rescuers received a message from the nurse on duty at the Snihurivka city hospital that a man was injured as a result of the detonation of an explosive device.

According to the rescuers, the man went to collect firewood and accidentally stepped on the ammunition that exploded. As a result of the explosion, he received a traumatic amputation of his left foot and shrapnel injuries to his thigh.

«The village of Bezimenne was under the occupation of Russian troops, and when leaving the territory, the enemy densely «strewn» the area with explosive objects. There is still a high level of mine danger here and sappers of the State Emergency Service are working. Therefore, for movement, it is necessary to choose only routes examined by specialists,» the rescuers noted.
