As of the morning of 1 May, Mykolaiv’s municipal services are continuing to clear up the aftermath of the drone attack that took place late on the evening of 30 April.

This is reported by a correspondent for NikVesti.

Staff from «ELU Avtodorig» and «Mykolaiv Parks» are working at the site where the drone struck, clearing the area of glass. Debris from the enemy drone fell into the courtyard. The blast also shattered windows and damaged a car. None of the building’s residents were injured.

Locals say that after the attack, rescue workers and medics arrived at the scene. Psychologists also worked with the residents, as people were in a state of shock.

Anna, a resident of the building, recalls that a Russian drone circled the area for a long time.

«It circled over the area for a long time. What can we say? There’s no point in complaining now. We’re a frontline city, after all. Of course, this sort of thing is bound to happen. Thank God no one was hurt,» said one of the building’s residents.

One of the building’s balconies was also burnt out as a result of falling debris. The residents do not know whether the flat was damaged.

«There was a loud explosion, then the neighbours called, and we all went outside. Part of the building was on fire: there was smoke, and sparks were flying. By the time the firefighters had set up the ladder and got the hoses out, it had all gone out,» said a resident.
