In 2025, 11 people were killed in the Mykolaiv region as a result of Russian shelling.

This was reported by Vitalii Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, on the air of Novyny.LIVE.

According to him, the number of deaths is decreasing significantly every year.

«Regarding the change in tactics (by the Russians, — note), I can say that we have long been measuring the problem in terms of casualties and victims. As of today, there are no casualties, and thank God, there have been no deaths this year. In general, the number of deaths is decreasing significantly every year. In 2025, 11 people were killed,» said Vitalii Kim.

We will remind you that recently, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, stated that Russian troops are changing their tactics of drone attacks on Mykolaiv, deliberately targeting public facilities in order to cause a stir among the population.

As is known, on 7 March, Russian troops attacked an emergency medical brigade vehicle in the Kutsurub community of the Mykolaiv region with an FPV drone. According to Vitalii Kim, the Russian military deliberately chooses targets that are public in nature.

In addition, according to the head of the region, the Russians have begun to use drones more often during the day, controlling them via video link. At the same time, he noted that at the state level, measures to protect frontline cities are currently being strengthened, but the details are not being disclosed.
