This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, on the air of the telethon Unified News.
As is known, on the night and early morning of 22 February, Russian troops attacked Mykolaiv with Shahed 131/136 strike drones. It later became known that the shelling had damaged the energy infrastructure. About 16,000 subscribers were left without electricity.
«Of the 16,000 disconnected subscribers, 9,000 have already been reconnected, and we plan to reconnect all the others by the end of the day. But I must note that the enemy is now changing its tactics and targets. Our people definitely need to be more careful, because the Shaheds carry FPV drones that use the LTE network. This means that they can see where they are flying, and it is more difficult to shoot them down with electronic warfare or air defence systems,» said Vitalii Kim.
He added that there are currently no power outage schedules .
«There are no power cut schedules at the moment. Our power engineers are working around the clock to restore all networks, including those damaged today and yesterday in the Snihurivka community. Work is currently underway to reconnect and repair the damage caused by the enemy,» concluded Vitalii Kim.
