This was reported by a resident of the high-rise building in a comment to NikVesti.
As is known, on 8 February, residents of the high-rise building complained that due to prolonged power outages, there was virtually no heating in the building.
«Now we have heating without electricity. Thank you,» a resident of the building told us.
In turn, the first deputy mayor of Mykolaiv, Vitaliy Lukov, told that heat is being supplied thanks to generators.
«There is hardly a single person in Mykolaiv who wants the situation to get worse. Efforts are currently underway to remedy the situation, in particular with regard to the supply of heat through additional generators [...] Because during those two or three hours when the power was on, the pumps were turned on and they transferred as much heat as possible from the cooled water in the building to the system. The water did not heat the flats yet, but it accumulated this heat. Then, when the power is turned off again, the water releases heat into the flat, but it is not enough to heat it completely, and it cools down to a minimum,» Vitalii Lukov said in a comment to NikVesti.
He added that the recalculation of heating bills will be carried out from the moment the claims are signed.
«The recalculation for people will be carried out from the moment the relevant acts are signed. From the moment these acts are drawn up and concluded, a special temperature commission is at work. That is, everything is happening clearly: this procedure is well defined and they are working according to it,» added Vitalii Lukov.
Mykolaiv residents complained about the lack of heating in a building on Soborna Street: what is known
On 8 February, residents of a high-rise building on 9 Soborna Street in Mykolaiv complained that due to prolonged power outages, there was virtually no heating in the building. According to them, despite this, they receive bills as if for a full service.
According to one of the residents, the building does not have a central gas supply and runs on electricity, so during prolonged power outages, the heating system does not function properly and the rooms do not have time to warm up.
Subsequently, on 12 February, the residents of the high-rise building filed complaints with the thermal power plant due to the lack of heating during power outages and demanded a recalculation of their bills.
The complaint about inadequate service provision, document NikVesti, was provided by the residents of the building. In particular, residents demanded compensation for services not provided. Then the first deputy mayor of Mykolaiv, Vitalii Lukov, said that it was impossible to charge the entire building for heating and that the recalculation had to be done individually.
We would like to add that during power outages in Mykolaiv, heating problems were recorded in about 25 of the 1,324 buildings on the balance sheet of the regional heating company.
