During the night and day of 19 December, they massively attacked the bridge in Maiaky, using 15 kamikaze drones and a ballistic missile.
This was reported by Serhii «Flash» Beskrestnov, an expert on electronic warfare and communications systems. According to him, 10 Shahed drones were fired at the bridge in Maiaky at night, and up to five more drones attacked the facility during the day.
In addition, during the day, Russian troops fired a ballistic missile with a cluster warhead.
«During the day, the bridge was hit by ballistic missiles. You can see on the video that it was a cluster shell strike. Why? The cluster will not damage the bridge, the cluster will kill civilians around the bridge in the queue», wrote Serhii «Flash» Beskrestnov.
Earlier, truck traffic on the «Odesa-Reni» highway was completely suspended due to the effects of shelling.
The Service for Infrastructure Restoration and Development in Odesa Oblast clarified that traffic on the M-15 motorway is restricted from the patrol police road station «Dva Stovpy» towards the village of Maiaky.
In connection with the suspension of traffic on the «Odesa-Reni motorway», the State Customs Service has advised citizens and carriers to use alternative checkpoints on the border with Moldova.
