Drone attacks ambulance in Kherson: two medics wounded

On the evening of 16 November, a Russian drone struck an ambulance in Kherson, injuring two medics.

This was reported by the Kherson City Administration.

According to the city authorities, the 64-year-old driver sustained an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to both legs. The 32-year-old paramedic was diagnosed with contusion, explosive and closed head injuries.

The injured were provided with the necessary assistance. They will undergo outpatient treatment in the future.

According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, the explosives were thrown onto the car when the medics arrived at the scene. The attack damaged two ambulances.

As a reminder, Ukraine is preparing a programme to protect Kherson and other frontline cities from Russian drones. The programme envisages the creation of a system to detect, intercept and neutralise Russian drones attacking populated areas.
