Photo: Odesa RMAStudents of a lyceum in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Odesa Oblast, that was hit by a Russian missile strike will continue their studies at three other schools in the city from 1 September. All teaching and technical staff will keep their jobs.
This was announced by Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Education Administration, who visited the victims in hospital and visited the site of the tragedy.
«Together with the lyceum's principal, Ms Inna, they discussed the future of the institution. More than a thousand children studied there. Their home of knowledge has been destroyed. But education does not stop. The classes will start on 1 September in three other schools. All teachers and technicians will keep their jobs. One thing is clear: we will not leave our children without education,» said Oleh Kiper.
He also stressed that after the rubble is cleared, an expert examination will be conducted to determine whether the building can be restored or a new one will have to be built.

«I cannot but mention the act of 16-year-old Mark. After the strike, he rushed to save his friend Maksym and literally pulled him out from under the rubble. The boy was not confused or afraid — he just acted. He thanked Mark for his courage. He is a real hero - quiet, young, but unbreakable,» said Oleh Kiper.
According to him, he visited the wounded boys and the lyceum's principal at the hospital. "Their condition is stable, they are all receiving the necessary assistance.
