On Saturday, 14 June, a family of five people from Odesa died in Israel as a result of a direct hit by an Iranian missile on a high-rise building. They had come to Israel to treat their seriously ill child.
This was reported on «Suspilne. Studio», Ukrainian Jewish historian and journalist Shimon Briman said, citing a press release from the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel.
According to him, five citizens of Ukraine - a grandmother, mother, daughter, and two nephews — died in the rubble. They had come to Israel to treat their seriously ill child.
«They were citizens of Ukraine from Odesa who came to Israel to treat their daughter. Last night there was a short press release from the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel. We feel that there is some kind of common destiny between Ukrainians and Israelis,» said Shimon Briman.
As a reminder, on the night of 15 June, Iran launched a missile attack on Israel. The shelling killed three people, injured more than 200 others, and left about 35 people missing.
As reported, on 14 June, Putin and Trump had a telephone conversation to discuss the escalation between Israel and Iran, as well as the situation in Ukraine.
In addition, Trump said that Iran and Israel may soon conclude a peace agreement, and that he is actively promoting this process.

In response, Iran launched more than 100 drones, although it officially denied it. Trump said he knew about Israel's plans, but the US did not participate in the operation.
