US Embassy in Kyiv warns of possible air attack in the coming days

The US Embassy in Kyiv has received information about a potential large-scale air attack in the coming days and has called on Americans to be as cautious as possible and ready to act in case of an alarm.

The message, published on the official website of the diplomatic mission, notes that US citizens should prepare in advance for a possible emergency. First of all, it is recommended to identify the nearest shelters even before the air raid alert is announced and download reliable apps to receive alerts.

In the event of an alert, you should immediately go to a shelter, follow local media reports, have water, food, and medicine on hand, and follow the instructions of Ukrainian emergency responders and officials.

«We urge U.S. citizens in Ukraine to remain vigilant, follow official local government announcements, and be prepared to take immediate action in the event of an air alert», the embassy said.

As a reminder, Julie Davis, who previously served as the US ambassador to Cyprus, will become the new interim head of the US Embassy in Ukraine.
