Residential buildings, a school, a hotel and a polyclinic were damaged in Kharkiv as a result of shelling

Russian troops attacked Kharkiv 24 times during the night. Multi-storey residential buildings, a hospital, a school, private houses, a hotel were damaged, and 2 people were injured.

This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and the State Emergency Service.

«According to our Situation Centre, Kharkiv was attacked 24 times at night. 14 times by enemy UAVs, 10 times by missiles», he said.

"Multi-storey residential buildings, a city polyclinic, a school building, private yards, industrial enterprises and a hotel complex were damaged. One person was hospitalised.

The SES reported that large-scale fires had engulfed the town, damaging multi-storey and private buildings, an educational institution and infrastructure.

According to preliminary reports, two people were injured. Despite the threat of repeated strikes, rescuers, utilities and psychologists continue to work at the scene. Fires are being extinguished and rubble is being cleared.

As a reminder, on the night of 24 April, Kyiv suffered a massive combined attack by Russian troops. According to recent reports, 9 people were killed and 70 others were injured. Among the victims are six children and a pregnant woman.
