Russian troops attack Kharkiv with drones: there are victims

On Tuesday, 22 April, the Russian army massively attacked Kharkiv with drones. According to preliminary estimates, the city was hit 12 times. Fires broke out at the sites of some of the attacks.

This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

Around 13:00, Kharkiv was warned of an attack by a group of Shahed-type attack drones.

The number of victims has now increased to nine. One person is in extremely serious condition in hospital, two have been admitted to surgery, two to neurosurgery and traumatology, one person has been hospitalised with an explosive injury, and three others have received outpatient care.

According to the regional prosecutor's office, civilian enterprises were damaged in Shevchenkivskyi, Saltivskyi and Novobavarskyi districts. In Kyiv district, a UAV hit a roadway. 15 cars and an administrative building were damaged.

In addition, two more strikes were recorded in the suburbs of Kharkiv. Thus, a private house was damaged in Dergach, and grass was burning in the village of Ruska Lozova, with no one injured.

Earlier, it was reported that Russian troops had attacked Zaporizhzhia with an air strike. As a result, one person was killed and 15 were injured.
