Easter cakes baked in Odesa region from flour grown on demined land in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions

A masterclass on baking Easter cakes from flour made from wheat grown in the demined fields of Kherson and Mykolaiv regions was held in Odesa region.
According to the press service of the Odesa Regional State Administration, the workshop was held as part of the «Soul of Soil 2.0» project.
«Famous Odesa chef Ihor Zrazhevskyi baked Easter cakes together with residents of Odesa region. Farmer Andrii Povod shared his story: from danger to the first harvest on free land. And rescuers from the State Emergency Service held a masterclass on mine safety. Odesa region is where even bread tells stories of invincibility,» the press service reports.
As a reminder, a masterclass on baking Easter cakes from flour milled from wheat grown in the mined fields of Kherson region was held in Mykolaiv. The flour for the Easter cakes was ground in Mykolaiv at the «Zolotyi Shliakh» enterprise, which operates under constant shelling. The grain was grown by farmer Oleksii Rudenko and his nephews in the village of Mala Oleksandrivka in Kherson region, on 1,800 hectares of land cleared by sappers after the occupation.
