In Mykolaiv, on 11 April, trees fell on parked cars due to bad weather, wind, and snow accumulation.

One of these incidents occurred in a yard on Schneersona Street, where trees fell on cars parked near the house.

«The weather caused this kind of damage. In the morning we are waiting for the help of public utilities and unfortunately there is no one», wrote the reader.

Similar situations are also on 3 Slobodska Street. A tree fell on Lazurna Street, but did not damage any cars.

Bad weather in Mykolaiv region on 11 April

As you know, Mykolaiv and the region have been experiencing heavy snow and blizzards since the night of 11 April. According to forecasts, up to 16 cm of snow may fall in some areas of the region.

It should be noted that in the morning, utilities are clearing the roads of snow. However, the State Road Agency urges drivers with summer tyres not to drive on city roads.

In his morning post, Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych noted that the city's roads have already been treated with de-icing agents. The dispatcher on duty is monitoring the situation, and additional equipment will be deployed if necessary.

The Mykolaiv City Hall said that the main focus of the work of public utilities in Mykolaiv is currently on eliminating the consequences of the recent shelling.
