Production facilities for gas production damaged: Naftogaz on the consequences of Russian shelling

At night, Russian troops attacked gas infrastructure facilities. Production facilities that ensure gas production were damaged.

According to Naftogaz, this is the seventeenth combined attack on the facilities.

Roman Chumak, CEO of Naftogaz, said that production facilities that ensure gas production were damaged.

«The company is currently responding to the shelling and assessing the damage. The Naftogaz Group is taking all necessary measures to restore the operation of the facilities that were attacked by the enemy», Roman Chumak said.

Earlier, Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko said that on the night of 7 March, Russia carried out a massive missile and drone attack on energy and gas infrastructure in different regions of Ukraine. The consequences of the attacks were reported in Poltava, Odesa, Ternopil, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions.
