Residential buildings and critical infrastructure damaged in Mykolaiv drone attack

On the night of 16 February, Russian troops launched a drone attack on Mykolaiv.

According to the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, the strike damaged a critical infrastructure facility, apartment buildings and commercial premises.

«As a result, the critical infrastructure facility was damaged and a fire broke out, which was quickly extinguished by firefighters. Five apartment buildings were damaged by falling debris and the blast wave. At least four shops, a catering establishment and office premises were also damaged,» Vitalii Kim wrote.

In addition, a 64-year-old man was injured in the attack. He was hospitalised and his condition is currently assessed as satisfactory.

As a reminder, the first explosion in Mykolaiv occurred on 16 February at 0:50 am. Later it became known that the city was under attack by drones. By 1:42 a.m., six more explosions had occurred in Mykolaiv.
