On the night of 12 February, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Kyiv. The attack killed one person and injured four others, including a 9-year-old girl.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service, KCMA and Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko.

Obolonskyi district — debris hit two office buildings, one of which caught fire from the 7th to the 1st floor. A person died in the fire.

On the night of 12 February, Ukrainian air defence forces shot down two Shahed 131/136 kamikaze drones over Mykolaiv region.
