On Tuesday, 4 February, five more children returned to the government-controlled territory of Ukraine from the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region.
This was announced by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
According to him, three boys and two girls aged 8 to 17 were rescued. Another orphan was returned with them.
«All of them are safe and receive the necessary assistance, including medical and psychological», added Alexander Prokudin.
It is noted that the rescue operation was made possible thanks to the implementation of the President's initiative «Bring Kids Back UA» and the activities of the «Save Ukraine» team.
As a reminder, five children aged 1.5 to 18 were returned from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Earlier, a 17-year-old boy who had survived torture by Russians was brought back from the temporarily occupied Kherson region to the territory controlled by Ukraine.
