Illegal weapons, drugs, money: National Police conducted over a thousand searches across Ukraine

During a large-scale special operation across Ukraine, police seized more than 800 weapons, 46,000 rounds of ammunition and more than 57 kilograms of explosives.

It is noted that law enforcement officers conducted more than a thousand simultaneous searches. The operation resulted in the seizure of 240 firearms, 94 grenade launchers, 482 grenades, and 46,000 rounds of ammunition of various calibres.

Also, more than 57 kilograms of explosives were seized, 22 kilograms of drugs and 546 kilograms of amber were found. In addition, 166,000 hryvnias, over 32,000 dollars and 37,000 euros were confiscated.

It should be noted that 67 defendants were served with suspicion notices. Of these, 45 were detained in a procedural manner.

In 2024, Ukrainians declared more than a thousand firearms and more than 80,000 rounds of ammunition in three weeks.
