In 2024, the police in Mykolaiv region received 441 reports of missing children, and all minors were found. In particular, 432 children were found during the day.

Last year, the region's juvenile prevention officers registered 132 juvenile offenders. Currently, 98 teenagers are under the control of juvenile police officers.

«Compared to 2023, juvenile delinquency has decreased by 20%, and the number of children who have suffered from criminal offences has also decreased by 20%», the report says.

In addition, police brought 1,031 parents to administrative responsibility for improper upbringing of their children, and 38 for committing domestic violence.
