Russians strike at children's health centre in Sumy

On the evening of 12 January, Russia launched Shahed drones at Sumy region, which caused fires in the residential sector and a children's health centre.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

«On 12 January, as a result of the fall of the wreckage of the Russian Shahed drone on the territory of the children's health centre of the Sumy community, a fire broke out», the regional military administration said in a statement.

The SES noted that rescuers had to extinguish the fires at several addresses simultaneously.

«People are alive and well», said the acting mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar.

«The fire has been extinguished. The areas where the strikes were carried out have been inspected», the SES said.

As a reminder, in Voznesensk, Mykolaiv region, the roofs and windows of two and three private houses were damaged by the falling wreckage of one of the downed Shahed drones on the night of 13 January.
