Yesterday, November 13, juvenile police officers together with volunteers of the «Save Ukraine» organization successfully evacuated a family from Antonivka, one of the constantly shelled districts of the Kherson community.

The communication department of the police of the Kherson region reports this.

The children's service of the Dniprovskyi district appealed to the police with a request to evacuate a 27-year-old woman and her children, ages 3 and 5. It is noted that daily shelling by Russian troops in the area posed a danger to the family's life.

The police and volunteers organized an evacuation in an armored car and took the family to Kyiv, where patrons will provide them with temporary housing and assistance.

Families with children can contact the local police, line 102, authorities or volunteer organizations to organize a free evacuation. Detailed information can also be obtained from the «hotline» of Kherson RMA: 0800 33 09 51.

Earlier it was reported that six children were evacuated from the temporarily occupied Kherson region to the territory controlled by Ukraine.
