It was tested for the first time during the repair of the sewer collector on Kolodiazna Street.
As Borys Dudenko, director of Mykolaivvodokanal KP, said, pipe restoration with a polymer sleeve is one of the best technologies available today for repairing pipelines in difficult areas. With its help, you can quickly restore damaged areas of both the sewage network and water pipes.
«A polymer sleeve is wound into the old pipe. Then, under the influence of ultraviolet light and high-pressure steam, this sleeve becomes hard and extends the service life of the pipeline by at least 50 years. The technology makes it possible to carry out work quite quickly without disturbing the road surface,» explained Borys Dudenko.

« It is quite cheap compared to a simple replacement of networks,» added the head of the enterprise.
The technology was transferred by the Danish company Per Aarsleff. She teaches the specialists of Mykolaivvodokanal to use it. And the money for the purchase of equipment was allocated by the World Bank.
Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych noted the great importance of the event. After all, a significant part of the water supply and sewage network in Mykolaiv was damaged due to the war.
It is important that cooperation with this company will continue.
The company plans to continue cooperating with Mykolaivvodokanal. And Mykolaivvodokanal will be the first Ukrainian company that will be able to use such works and earn money from it. In cooperation with Per Aarsleff, he will be able to do this not only in Mykolaiv, but also in other cities,» said Oleksandr Sienkevych.
As a result, such cooperation will not only help speed up the repair of water pipes and sewers in Mykolaiv, but will also make our utility company more successful and efficient.
