Law enforcement officers detained the head of the Kutsurub United Territorial Community (UTC), Inna Kopiika, on suspicion of justifying a full-scale invasion of Russia.

This is reported by NikVesti with reference to sources in law enforcement agencies.

It is currently known that the official was detained under part 3 of Article 436-2 — «Justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants.»

It is worth reminding that the Kutsurub community is under attack by the Russian army almost every day. Most often, villages are shelled from FPV drones, artillery and UAVs of the Shahed 131/136 type from the occupied Kinburn peninsula.

Inna Kopiika was elected head of the community during the 2016 elections after the decentralization reform. Before that, the woman headed the Kutsurub village council twice.

It should also be noted that Inna Kopiika is the ex-wife of Ihor Kopiika, a former Mykolaiv's deputy from Mykolaiv. In 2018, Nikcenter journalists wrote in an investigation that budget money in Kutsurub is directed to the development of money by «necessary» contractors.
