Yesterday, October 2, 21 fires were registered on the territory of the Mykolayiv region. In particular, 5 of which are in the residential sector and 16 in open areas.
This is reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv Region.
It is noted that the total area of fires was almost 25 hectares.
Yes, the causes of occurrence in the vast majority remain traditional - careless handling of fire.
By joint efforts, 2 residential and 3 country houses, 2 farm buildings were saved from being destroyed by flames, the message says.
More than 70 firefighters and 24 units of special equipment were involved from the State Emergency Service.
In addition, in some cases firefighters from local fire departments «Pervomaiske», «Shyrokolanivka», «Mykolaivka» participated in extinguishing fires.
