Three children who were in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region have been returned to Ukraine.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to him, the rescued children include two boys and a 17-year-old girl. All of them have experienced difficult events under occupation. For example, the father of one of the boys died as a result of brutal torture by the Russian military.

«The good news is that three children from the temporarily occupied Kherson region have been returned to the government-controlled territory. These are two boys and a 17-year-old girl. The children had gone through terrible things. The 16-year-old boy's father died because of brutal Russian torture. They have already been met on free land and all the horrors are over for them,» wrote Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to him, since the beginning of this year, 35 children from the Kherson region have been returned from the temporary Russian occupation.

Earlier it was reported that an 11-year-old boy was returned to Ukraine from the temporarily occupied territory of the left-bank Kherson region.
