Today, December 10, six local fire brigades of the Mykolaiv region received humanitarian aid.

This was reported in the Main Department of the State Service for Emergency Situations in Mykolaiv region.

It is noted that 12 generators with a capacity of 5 and 7.5 kW were received from the Rotary Club «Cherkasy Center» and the German RC Steinfurt by volunteer firefighters of the Shevchenkove, Kobleve, Kryve Ozero, Mostove, Stepove and Horohivka territorial communities of the Mykolaiv region.

How generators work

The principle of operation of an autonomous mini-power plant consists in the transformation of mechanical energy into electrical energy using such a phenomenon as electromagnetic induction. For this, the gasoline generator is equipped with an internal combustion engine, which rotates the rotor in a magnetic field, creating an alternating electric current. The generator design includes the following components:

  • internal combustion engine;
  • an alternator that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy;
  • fuel system;
  • cooling system;
  • automatic voltage regulation system;
  • management and control devices.
