Russian combat aircraft Su-25, photo: rosZMIToday, July 23, the Ukrainian military shot down a Russian Su-25 fighter jet over the Donetsk region.
This was reported by the Khortytsia operational and strategic grouping of troops.
It is noted that the plane was shot down in the Pokrovskyi direction, where the plane, together with another Su-25, tried to fire at the positions of Ukrainian units.
Anti-aircraft gunners from the 110th separate mechanized brigade named after Colonel-General Mark Bezruchko took aim at the attack aircraft.
This is the second Su-25 destroyed by fighters of the brigade this month.
We will remind how in October the defense forces shot down an enemy Su-25, then it was the fifth downed in 10 days.
