Certificate of reservation for 300 liters of fuel: in TCR of Odesa they demanded a bribe for postponing mobilization

An employee of one of the territorial recruiting centers of the Odesa region refused to issue a reservation from mobilization to a conscript without a bribe.

He demanded 300 liters of fuel or equivalent money, the Odesa Oblast police reported.

According to law enforcement officers, the incident took place in the Pokrovskyi district of the region. The military created artificial obstacles for the man and demanded a bribe from him, even though he works for a critical infrastructure company and has a legal right to reservation. For refusing to pay, the TCR employee threatened to be sent to the war zone.

It is noted that the police and SSU military counterintelligence officers intervened in the situation. The man was detained while handing over the temporary conscript certificate he had prepared in advance and received 15,000 hryvnias for this «service».
