Another ₴1.2 billion to be spent on repair of 11 km of road in Novyi Buh, Mykolaiv region

Mykolaiv region is planning to repair 11.6 kilometres of the national importance road P-55 Odesa — Voznesensk — Novyi Buh. The expected cost of the works is ₴1.2 billion.

The tender for the overhaul of the road was announced by the Mykolaiv Oblast Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service, according to NikVesti.

The works are to be completed in concrete by 31 October 2027. The contractor must confirm experience in performing similar works, including:

• cold milling of asphalt concrete pavement — 43,980 m²,

• construction of the road base of crushed stone and sand mixture or cement-treated soil — 75,050 m²,

• cement concrete or concrete pavement — 61,860 m²,
  
  installation of concrete curb stones — 805 metres,

• installation of barrier fencing — 1,100 metres,
  
  horizontal road marking — 20.4 km,

• laying of reinforced concrete pipes — 3.1 m³.

As a reminder, in 2020, the tender for the development of project documentation was won by PE «Terra Engineering» with a contract value of ₴7.5 million.

In 2021, the overhaul of the section km 179+600 — km 207+656 of the P-55 road from Novomykolaivka village to Novyi Buh, a 28-kilometre-long section, was carried out by LLC «European Road Construction Company» for ₴1.6 billion. However, as of December 2024, the company had been paid only ₴21.44 million.

Author's supervision was provided by PE «Terra Engineering» — a contract for ₴2.78 million.

In 2024, a tender was also announced to adjust the design documentation for this facility. The expected cost was ₴1.49 million, and the winner was Gag Trading LLC.
