Businesses in Mykolaiv region paid over ₴24 million for licences to sell alcohol and cigarettes

From January to August 2025, entrepreneurs in the Mykolaiv region transferred almost 24.7 million hryvnias to local budgets for licences to sell alcohol, cigarettes, e-cigarette liquids and fuel.

This was reported by the press service of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Mykolaiv region.

It is noted that compared to the same period last year, revenues increased by more than 6 million hryvnias, or 32.3%.

During this time, 5025 licences were issued to entrepreneurs:

• 3999 — for the retail sale of alcohol, cigarettes and e-liquids;
• 957 — for fuel storage;
• 44 — for the retail sale of fuel;
• 19 — for the wholesale of fuel;
• 6 — for the wholesale of alcohol, cigarettes and e-liquids.

At the same time, the tax authorities cancelled 1,221 licences for violations of trade rules.

As a reminder, in seven months of 2025, enterprises of Mykolaiv region transferred 76.9 million hryvnias in rent for special use of water, subsoil and forest resources to the budgets of various levels.
