Ukraine and the US officially launch Recovery Fund

This was announced by First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko.
She noted that the final step was a diplomatic note from the United States, which she personally received on the morning of 23 May from Julie Davis, the US Chargé d'Affaires in Ukraine.
«Ukraine and the United States have completed all the necessary procedures to launch the US-Ukraine Reconstruction Fund,» said Svyrydenko.
Earlier, Yuliia Svyrydenko explained how the U.S. Recovery Investment Fund will work.
On 1 May, Yuliia Svyrydenko and U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent signed an agreement between the two countries on the establishment of the Recovery Investment Fund.
The bilateral agreement between Ukraine and the United States signed in Washington establishes a political framework for cooperation in the field of subsoil development.
