An outpatient clinic and a security centre are to be built in the village of Posad Pokrovske, Kherson region, at a total cost of almost 60 million hryvnias.

The relevant tenders were published on 2 April by the Regional Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service on the Prozorro portal.

21.9 million hryvnias is allocated for the construction of the outpatient clinic and 37.9 million hryvnias for the Safety Centre. The works are to be completed by 31 December 2025. The warranty period for both facilities is 10 years.

The Security Centre will include a fire station, a police station, an emergency medical centre, a boiler room, an electrical control room and a basement. It is also planned to install video surveillance, heating, ventilation, sewerage and water supply systems. The territory will be landscaped with a lawn and a sports ground.

The new outpatient clinic is being built to replace the renovated old one, which does not provide a full range of medical services. The project includes shelters for patients and staff and boxes for medical transport. Upon completion of the construction, the old building will be repurposed to provide administrative services.

The construction is funded under the programme for the restoration of de-occupied territories.

Rebuilding Posad Pokrovske

The village of Posad-Pokrovske, located on the border of Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, has been on the contact line for 8 months. Every day, the villagers counted between 350 and 500 arrivals.

In the spring of 2023, Posad-Pokrovske was included in a comprehensive reconstruction project. But the work was suspended in the summer of 2024.

Later, however, it became known that the Cabinet of Ministers had allocated money for the village's reconstruction again. In total, in 2025, the village plans to restore 100 houses and overhaul 21 streets for 589 million hryvnias at public expense.

As of January 2025, not a single house in Posad Pokrovske has been 100% rebuilt. Most of the 120 objects that were being worked on are only 20% complete.

And in February 225, the head of the State Agency for Infrastructure Reconstruction and Development, Serhii Sukhomlyn, promised to show quick results in 2025 in rebuilding the village of Posad Pokrovske.
