In 2024, farmers of the Mykolaiv region exported agricultural products worth 700 million US dollars, which accounted for 96% of the region's export structure.

Olena Piskun, director of the department of agro-industrial development of Mykolaiv RMA, reported this at the briefing, NikVesti writes.

«An indicator of which the agricultural sector can be proud is the export of agricultural products, which in the structure of the volume of exports of our region occupies 96%. 0.7 billion US dollars is the export of the products of our farmers. Products were exported to 110 countries of the world. We still have two months left, so the final results will be bigger,» she said.

In addition, Olena Piskun focused on tax revenues from the agricultural sector. According to her, in 2024, the producers of goods in the region significantly exceeded last year's figures for the payment of taxes and fees.

«Regarding taxes, I would like to note that in 10 months of 2024, our producers paid 2.2 billion hryvnias in taxes and fees. While for the entire past year, this figure was 1.9 billion hryvnias,» she added.
