This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.
He noted that the funding was provided by the US government through the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and the State Department.
«We are sincerely grateful to our American partners for this support. The government continues to cooperate with allies to mobilize the necessary financial resources for this year and for the future,» said Denys Shmyhal.
In September 2024, it became known that the United States will provide defense aid to Ukraine in the total amount of 7.9 billion dollars and the introduction of sanctions against Russia.
