The state property fund plans to sell enterprises and recreation centers in the Mykolaiv region

The Government of Ukraine has unblocked the process of privatization of state-owned objects in the Mykolaiv region.

On Friday, January 19, during a briefing, the deputy head of the Regional Department of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Oleh Sokol announced this, NikVesti writes.

As you know, according to the Law of Ukraine «On Privatization of State and Communal Property», it was established that the process of privatization of state and communal property in the Mykolaiv region was temporarily suspended. This is due to the fact that the region was on the list of territories that belonged to the combat zone or close to the combat zone.

Four information notices on the sale of state-owned objects have already been prepared, which must be coordinated by the State Property Fund.

«In the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, changes have been made to some normative acts, therefore the issue of privatization of state-owned objects is currently unblocked. And we started preparing for the sale of these objects. Four information notices on the sale of state-owned objects have already been prepared for submission to the State Property Fund for approval. The remaining objects are also being prepared for sale,» he noted.

Objects that will be presented at the auction:

1. The research plant of the Institute of Impulse Processes and Technologies is located at the corner of Chkalova Street and 6th Slobidska Street.

2. Recreation and science base in Koblevo, which is also subject to privatization.

3. Mykolaiv export orthopedic enterprise, which produces prostheses and important medical products for the Mykolaiv region.

4. Rybflot Institute at Falieievska Street, 25.

5. Mykolaiv Maritime Agency at Cabotaznyi descent, 3.

It is expected that the privatization of these objects will lead to significant revenues in the budget and contribute to the development of the region's economy.

«These are the largest objects in the Mykolaiv region, which are located in Mykolaiv itself. That is, quite a large number of objects that are actively being prepared for sale. We expect significantly higher revenues than last year and are preparing objects for auction,» Oleh Sokol said.

We will remind, during 2023, 8 state-owned objects were privatized in the Mykolaiv Region: revenues to the budget exceeded the pre-war figure by 3 times, they amounted to 14 million 122 thousand hryvnias.

Thus, the largest object that provided revenue to the budget is considered to be the recreation center «Pearl» in the village of Rybakivka. It was managed to be privatized for 6 million 260 thousand hryvnias, which is 3.2 times more than its starting price at the auction.

At the same time, it became known that the Office of the Regional Branch of the State Property Fund of Ukraine plans to auction the building «House of Culture of the Portsmen» in Mykolaiv. However, this will happen under the condition that Mykolaiv will be excluded from the list of territories that are close to the bottom of the combat zone.

In addition, this year Mykolayiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych plans to propose to city council members the issue of privatization of communal property as an additional source of filling the budget of Mykolayiv, which will actually lose 2.7 billion hryvnias of «military personal income tax» that was withdrawn from the state budget this year.

The mayor stated that Mykolaiv is «not far» from property privatization in order to fill the budget. Also, in the near future, auctions will be held for the lease of communal property, which was vacated during the full-scale war.
