In the front-line Ochakov, which is still in the zone of damage of the enemy's anti-aircraft missile system, a mixed form of training is in place.

The Deputy Mayor of Ochakiv, Oleksii Vaskov, said this on the air of the MART TV channel.

As you know, Ochakiv is subjected to chaotic shelling by the Russian military almost every day from the territory of the occupied Kinburn spit — the distance to the city by water is several kilometers.

However, despite this, the city authorities managed to organize the offline learning process. For this, a bomb shelter was set up in one of the schools, which has school classrooms, a security classroom, a dining hall and a gym.

— Being in a war zone, we have a mixed educational process. In one of the schools, we made a storage room, we made classrooms, a gym, playrooms, and a safety class. We have everything equipped, from the dining room to the bathroom and shower cabins, as well as the ventilation and air purification system. Therefore, those children whose parents wanted their education to be in a hospital study offline. Parents with children who are outside the settlement, many abroad, they study online, — said Oleksiy Vaskov.

As of November, about 8,000 people live in the city of Ochakiv.

It is worth noting that schoolchildren in Mykolaiv still study online. Although the government, with the help of donors and the state, is actively setting up shelters in educational institutions, which sometimes causes indignation among the townspeople.

Mayor Oleksandr Sienkovych explained that the refusal of children to go to school is a guarantee of their personal safety, because Mykolaiv is still in the zone of possible ballistic damage from the Russian Federation. At the same time, he emphasizes the importance of preparing shelters and resuming education in schools when the Armed Forces move the front line.

As you know, 57 educational institutions were allowed to work offline in the Mykolayiv region. Most of them are schools of Voznesensk and Pervomaisk districts. In addition, 94 schools work mixed, that is, children study offline in a certain sequence, for example, one week after another. In addition, 277 educational institutions work online.

Later, Vitalii Kim explained that the decision on the offline operation of city schools will be made by the Office of the President and the Ministry of Education.

According to the monitoring of the Department of Education of the Mykolaiv City Council, 65% of schoolchildren want to study full-time.

For the beginning of the academic year, the Department of Education of the City Council announces tenders for placement in shelter schools in an offline format. Yes, the shelter in school No. 23 will be repaired for 2.2 million hryvnias, and in Lyceum No. 58 for 2.6 million hryvnias.

At the same time, the publication «Ukrainian Pravda» together with the savED fund, as part of the «To school again» campaign , announced a fundraiser for the construction of a shelter for the Mykolaiv Lyceum No. 55, which in the new academic year should become a key school in the city district.
