₴3.2 million is going to be spent on repairing sidewalks in the Zavodskyy District of Mykolaiv

The administration of the factory district of Mykolaiv announced several tenders for the repair of sidewalks for a total amount of over 3.2 million hryvnias.

— 2 million 45 thousand 521 hryvnias for the restoration of the sidewalk along Korabeliv Street (from building 2 to building 12);

— 198 thousand 754 hryvnias for works on Abrykosova street (along building 5);

— 167 thousand 226 hryvnias for the repair of the pavement on 7 Poperechna Street (alongside building 1).

With these funds, the contractor must perform the dismantling of the old pavement and its replacement. In general, all work must be completed by December 15 of this year.

We will remind you that in Novyy Buh, Mykolaiv Oblast, sidewalks are being repaired along Tsybulko and Hrushevskyy streets. The price of the works is 10 million hryvnias. The townspeople had mixed feelings about the local government's decision to invest in the repair of sidewalks, many are sure that the money should be sent to the military.

In the Facebook group «Novyy Buh — Novobuzhany» Oleksandra Kuzmina was outraged that the local authorities were repairing the sidewalk on Tsybulko Street during the war.

We will remind that in July of this year, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appealed to all representatives of local authorities in Ukraine with the demand to stop allocating budget funds for non-critical expenses. Then he said: «I want to appeal to all representatives of local authorities in our country: people should feel that budget resources are used fairly and correctly».

It was also reported that the contracting company «MEGO LTD», which is carrying out the current repair of Bogoyavlenskyy Avenue in the Ship district of Mykolaiv, has already missed the deadline for the work for the second time.
