«They show restraint»: Marinov on the willingness of partners to invest in the economy of Mykolaiv region

International partners are expressing restraint regarding possible investment in the economy of Mykolaiv region due to the region's proximity to the war zone.

This was reported by Mykola Marinov, deputy head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, to NikVesti.

«Potential investors are showing restraint in considering investing in the economy of Mykolaiv region, both in setting up new businesses and developing existing ones. The main reason for this is the geographical proximity of the region to the frontline and the area of active hostilities, which creates great risks for the security of investments, stability of economic activity and long-term prospects for business development», said Mykola Marinov.

In the article, macroeconomist and expert in tax and budget legislation Danylo Monin said that the main problems facing Ukrainian business today are taxes and mobilisation.
